VideoConferencing Platforms - Usability Survey

The rapid development and refinement of videoconferencing platforms and proliferation of use of these platforms for work, school, remote healthcare delivery and social interaction has made it ever more important toensure the accessibility and usability of these platforms by people with disabilities.The purpose of the study is to better understand the experiences of people with disabilities who use video conferencing platforms (VCPs). We want to identify accessibility pain points and best practices that people with disabilities have while using them on their mobile devices. This work helps people with disabilities have equal access to technologies like computers, cellphones, tablets, and desktop and mobile applications.This is a survey research study was conducted in 2023 after the primary impacts to public health, society and economy had mostly passed and as technology solutions to address remote/distance requirements had completed the initial, intensive phases of development and diffusion.
