MECHANISMS FOR ATTRACTING FOREIGN INVESTMENTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOURISM SECTOR AND THEIR EFFECTIVE USE

In recent years, the tourism sector has become one of the fastest growing sectors of the global and national economy, serving as an important factor in increasing gross domestic product, providing employment, and socio-economic development of regions. According to the World Tourism Organization, the tourism sector is one of the priority areas that actively attracts foreign investment on a global scale. In Uzbekistan, the steady growth in the flow of tourists and the volume of tourism services in recent years has further strengthened the need to attract foreign investment to this sector. This thesis analyzes the mechanisms for attracting foreign investment in the development of the tourism sector, improving the investment climate, developing infrastructure, and effectively using investments. It also highlights ways to increase the economic efficiency of foreign investment in the tourism sector.
