Litter microbiome in the decomposition process of fallen leaves.

The sample site is located in the Ma-li oak (Quercus acutissima) forest of Zhailong Village, Jishou City, within the Wuling Mountain region. Leaf litter samples were collected during the peak leaf-fall period (November).The samples are primarily utilized to investigate the effects of the preemptive colonization of endophytic microbes on the decomposition functions and microbial community characteristics of fallen leaves.
