资源简介:
Osteosarcoma is one of the most common malignant bone tumor in children, with a mortality rate of 8.6%. Osteosarcoma is highly aggressive and metastatic, and conventional radiotherapy is often accompanied by severe bone marrow suppression, organ toxicity and drug resistance. Degradation products released from magnesium alloys can alter the tumor microenvironment and provide potential anti-tumor properties. We explored the use of magnesium-based metallic materials in the treatment of osteosarcoma and investigated the effect of magnesium-calcium alloy/mineralised collagen on the biological behaviour of osteosarcoma. The results showed that the magnesium-calcium alloy/mineralised collagen significantly inhibited the proliferation, invasion and metastasis of osteosarcoma and promoted its apoptosis. In vivo experiments also showed that the magnesium-calcium alloy/mineralised collagen group had the smallest tumor volume, and had good anti-tumor effects on osteosarcoma. This enhances the potential of this biomaterial as a local anti-tumor therapy and lays a theoretical foundation for breaking through the synergistic tumor resection-bone defect repair challenge in the treatment of osteosarcoma, which has important clinical translational value.
