Genome sequencing of drought-tolerant plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) isolated from grapevine rhizosphere in semi-arid viticultural systems

This project aims to characterize the genomic features of rhizobacterial strains isolated from the rhizosphere of Vitis vinifera (cv. Sangiovese, Ortrugo, Barbera) cultivated under drought conditions. These strains were selected for their ability to tolerate osmotic stress and promote plant growth, and were formulated into microbial consortia tested for their biostimulant effects on young grapevines under water-limited conditions.
