资源简介:
The goal of Nem@ToL is to generate high quality reference genome sequences for nematode species across the diversity of the Phylum. These genomes will be openly available for use in understanding the biology of genomes, in contextualising the genome biology of the model nematode Caenorhabditis elegans and in developing understanding of and treatments for parasitic nematodes that infect plants and animals. For each species, or cultured isolate that has putative species status, we generate long-read and long-range data sufficient to build a genome sequence that is, or approaches, completeness, with all chromosomes assembled, and telomeres and sites of chromatin diminution identified. We also generate transcriptome data for gene finding and feature annotation. The assemblies are provided by the Wellcome Sanger Institute Nem@ToL project in collaboration with the Tree of Life programme Genome Engine teams. The data under this project are made available subject to the Wellcome Sanger Institute Data Sharing policy (see https://www.sanger.ac.uk/about/who-we-are/research-policies/open-access-science/ ).
