Coral microbiome changes over the day-night cycle

Samples are 16S sequences from three different coral species (Porites lutea, Porites cylindrica, and Pocillopora damicornis) across a 48 hour period. Five colonies of each species were sampled repeatedly at six time points: day 1 at 1200 h, 1800 h, day 2 at 0000 h, 0600 h, 1200 h, and day 3 at 0000 h in order to identify changes in microbial community across hourly time scales.
