Cro-FiReDa is a Croatian movie review sentiment annotation dataset developed by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. It contains more than 10,000 movie review sentences, covering multiple film genres including adventure, TV series, science fiction and others. Each review is accompanied by detailed metadata such as star ratings and review dates. During the dataset construction process, the dataset was pre-annotated using deep learning models, then manually verified and corrected by 82 students to ensure annotation quality. This dataset is primarily intended for Croatian sentiment analysis research, with the aim of enhancing sentiment analysis capabilities for low-resource languages.
