The VED dataset records the GPS trajectories and energy consumption time series data of various types of vehicles (including gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid/electric vehicles) from 2017 to 2018 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. This dataset can be used for vehicle energy consumption research, driver behavior analysis, machine learning and deep learning applications, traffic simulator calibration, optimal routing modeling, and human driver behavior prediction. The eVED dataset is an extended version of the VED, enhancing it with additional geographic information attributes sourced from Geographic Information Systems, map APIs, etc., providing a richer data foundation for vehicle energy consumption analysis.
