Construction capital spending in New York City 2005-2027

The capital spending commitments of the construction industry in New York City was 2.7 billion U.S. dollars higher in 2022 than in the previous year. Capital spending decreased significantly in 2020, dropping from 12.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2019 to 8.1 the year after. However, this figure is expected to grow significantly over the coming years, reaching 19.9 billion U.S. dollars in 2024.
