Genome Resource for Coniothyrium glycines, causal agent of Soybean Red Leaf Blotch

Soybean Red Leaf Blotch (SRLB) is a severe and exotic disease caused by the fungal pathogen Coniothyrium glycines. C. glycines is listed as a select agent by the Federal Select Agent Program because of the potential consequences to U.S. agriculture if introduced. With little information about its genomic and molecular characteristics, no molecular detection methods are currently available.We report the genome sequences of five C. glycines isolates using a combination of Oxford Nanopore sequencing and Illumina sequencing to facilitate the development of novel molecular detection tools.
