Cargo Tracking for LNG

Monitor global LNG flows with near real-time frequency. Energy Aspects’ LNG tracking distinguishes between cargo type, vessel class, destination terminal, while also capturing reloads and transshipments. Advanced predictive analytics provide actionable intelligence for potential destination of cargoes. This service is essential for understanding supply-demand balances, and analysing the evolving state of global LNG trade and its impact on regional gas markets.

This listing provides four datasets, each available in two variants:

- The latest release view, which is updated with delta changes.
- The history release view (suffixed _HISTORY), which is a complete archive of all past releases. Each release is identified by the release_date_time column, enabling point-in-time snapshots, delta derivation, revision tracking and backtesting.

Datasets included:

- Cargo tracking: seaborne flows by vessel and LNG type, from January 2015 onwards.
- Vessel flows: aggregate flows that start from January 2015 and continue to be present, including ‘Nowcast’ of the current month and month ahead.
- Floating storage: volumes of floating storage of LNG by vessel, from January 2019 onwards.
- Flow revisions: revisions in flows data that happened in the last 6 months between data updates for current/future voyages.
