This dataset is a cumulative set of Tibetan townships gathered from various sources (primarily census tables from 1991 to 1999). The tables were edited in stages from 2002 to 2009, and finally published in 2012. The result is a dataset of Tibetan Townships in the T.A.R. with their names in Pinyin, Chinese Characters, and Tibetan Script (using UTF8 encoding).
