VPRS 18215 Register of Supervision Orders Issued by the Children's Court (Children's Court Advisory Service)

This series consists of volumes which record summary information regarding Supervision Orders issued by the Children's Court of Victoria (VA 4190). The series was created by the Children's Court Advisory Service.The Children's Court Advisory Service provided advice to Courts to assist them in determining the most appropriate decisions regarding young people brought before them. It operated primarily to service the various Melbourne Children's Courts. It provided reports in relation to Irreconcilable Differences applications, pre-sentence reports, parole plans and verbal reports. In addition, the Children's Court Advisory Service performed a liaison function in respect of children from country Regions remanded to Turana.The Register of Supervision Orders records the following:- Court date- Date receive- Defendant's name;- Date of Birth- Age- Court- Exp (expiry date)- Length (duration of the supervision order)- Supervising Court- Areas- Special conditions- Number- File number (reference to the departmental client file for the defendant).
