we determined the transcriptomes of male and female adult antennae of Anoplophora chinensis, the citrus longhorned beetle and analysis the expression profiles of olfactory genes.This study establishes a foundation for determining the chemoreception molecular mechanisms of Anoplophora chinensis, which would provide a new perspective for controlling pest populations, especially those of borers.
