Supplementary: Damsels in Disguise, published in Molecular Ecology 2025

The dataset comprises the output files from the differential gene expression (DGE) analysis for Amphiprion akindynos, Pomacentrus amboinensis, and Chromis atripectoralis. Shown are the 15 most up- or downregulated genes for the comparisons between juveniles and adults, adults and larvae, and larvae and juveniles. It also contains the processed transcriptomic reads after Trimmomatic filtering and the Trinity assemblies. Moreover, it includes the raw UV images, the spectral reflectance data, and the alignments for the opsin phylogenies. The phylogenetic output files for an all-opsin tree and a UV-only tree are also included.
