"Weihnachtsbaum in Ussoke" ("Christmas tree in Ussoke"). It is a deciduous tree standing in a living room. It is decorated with candles and other accessories. Behind the tree two paintings, one depicting a religious theme, the other a landscape. On the left a small cupbord and chairs, more chairs on the right.; August Seibt (1875-1943) was a teacher and a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. He served in Unyamwezi (1904-1916) and Usoke (1930-1937). In 1905 he married Frieda Scholz. They returned to Germany in 1937.
