Source data for Figure 1b: Derived dataset combining and filtering six GBIF occurrence datasets for Humulus species

This dataset contains the source data used to generate Figure 1b in the manuscript: “Extensive variation between chromosomes of North American and European hop”. This derived dataset was generated from six GBIF occurrence downloads (DOIs: 10.15468/DL.W53RKC, 10.15468/DL.CR37WU, 10.15468/DL.6YE7UG, 10.15468/DL.8JNU9G, 10.15468/DL.MN7B6D, and 10.15468/DL.RZWT9H). The six datasets were filtered based on geographic coordinates. Only records consistent with the native species distributions described at powo.science.kew.org were retained. Occurrence records carrying the GBIF issue flags ZERO_COORDINATE_REPORTED and COUNTRY_COORDINATE_MISMATCHwere excluded.
