Cocoa Agroforestry Sustainability Performance Dataset – Nyinahin Cocoa District, Ghana

This dataset supports the research article “Assessing the Sustainability Performance of Cocoa Agroforestry Farmers in Ghana” and contains detailed data on the sustainability performance of 408 cocoa farmers across 17 communities in the Nyinahin Cocoa District, Ghana. The dataset is based on the Cocoa Agroforestry Sustainability Model (CASM) and includes indicator-level measurements, normalized overall sustainability scores, and contribution analyses. All personal identifiers have been replaced with unique codes, and dates have been removed to protect farmer privacy. The dataset enables replication of analyses, contribution assessment, and comparisons across sustainability indicators. Raw Data – Cocoa Agroforestry Sustainability Performance – Pseudonymized responses from farmers, including indicator data. Shade Tree Cover Data – Detailed calculations of shade tree canopy cover for each farm. Pest and Disease Control Products – List of products used by farmers and their categorization (organic/inorganic/biotechnological tools).
