Transcriptome Analysis Between Green Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) and Savoy Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. sabauda)

We found several candidate genes might be involved in the crinkled leaf phenotype of savoy cabbage. Cabbage (B. oleracea L. subsp. capitata) cultivar ‘Daebakna (DBN)’ and savoy type cabbage (B. oleracea L. subsp. Sabauda) cultivar ‘Serpentine (ser)’ were obtained from Asia Seed Company and used in this study. After seed sterilization, sterilized seeds were incubated at 22℃ under the long day light condition in growth room. 2 weeks old seedling were transplanted to soil pots and grown in the greenhouse located in the Anseong campus of Chung-Ang University at South Korea.
