RNA-seq of ex vivo hematopoietic stem cells with mouse recombinant IL-6.

The interaction between platelets and cancer cells enhances metastasis; however, the cross-talk between platelets and non-malignant cells within the tumor microenvironment (TME) remains poorly characterized. In this project, we performed RNA-seq to study the direct effects of IL-6 on the characteristics of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). Specifically, we cultured HSCs in a medium containing mouse recombinant IL-6 for 48 hours. These HSCs were followed by RNA-seq analysis.
