Federal Functional Classification Routes

Inventory of roads and highways categorized by similar characteristics (rural or urban) and types (Interstates, Principal Arterial Freeways or Expressways, Principal Arterial Other, Minor Arterial. Major Collector, Minor Collector, Local Routes) Data is maintained by WVDOT Planning Division in accordance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) rules and regulations and certified annually. Information included in the data sets are National Functional Classification Code, RouteID, Current From Measure, To Measure, National Functional Classification Code, Field Establish Date, System Create Date, System Modification Date, RH To and From Dates. Data is in the NAD_1983_UTM_Zone_17 coordinate system.
