资源简介:
The protective effect of yolkin was studied in BALB/c mice given a single injection of LPS. Yolkin was administered orally in drinking water or intraperitoneally before injection of LPS. Yolkin decreased the LPS- induced serum concentrations of TNF α and IL-6, but elevated the serum content of haptoglobin. More significant protective effects of yolkin were found in the liver and the spleen, where yolkin improved the architecture of these organs by diminishing vascular vessel permeability and restoration of a depleted number of Kupffer cells. In conclusion, yolkin exhibits protecting effect in experimental endotoxemia, if applied as a preventive measure. Both ways of yolkin administration were effective. The detailed description of the dataset is presented in readme.txt file. The experimental methodology is included in the linked publication.
