MilkQA

MilkQA is a dairy-focused consumer question answering dataset co-developed by the University of São Paulo and São Paulo State University. It contains 2,657 Portuguese question-answer pairs collected by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa). The questions in the dataset originate from real consumer inquiries, proposed by thousands of contributors with diverse backgrounds and varying literacy levels, while the corresponding answers are provided by customer service experts from Embrapa. The dataset has undergone manual filtering and anonymization, aiming to address the practical challenges faced by consumer question answering models in real-world applications, particularly their ability to handle long questions and complex linguistic structures.
