Frequencies of outliers found in pair-wise comparisons of Hypoplectrus morphotype populations (i.e. individuals of a given morph at a given sampling location).

sd = sympatric and different morphotypes, as = allopatric and same morphotypes, ad = allopatric and different morphotypes with nine randomly selected comparisons of each type, all = all comparisons combined. 95 = outliers with FST values above the 95% simulated quantile, 99 = outliers with Fst values above the 99% simulated quantile. ‘Expected mean’ represents the mean percentage of outliers expected. Mann Whitney U and P represent the non-parametric test statistics and statistical significance of the comparisons between observed and expected (simulated) results.
