资源简介:
We sampled herbivorous insects during two summers and two winters in 14 forest islands with different sizes and shapes in a natural mountainous fragment located in southern Brazil. In each sampling period we collected herbivorous insects using two Malaise traps (one soil Malaise trap and one canopy Malaise Window trap which remained in the field for seven days (9408 trap-hours for each type). Collected herbivorous insects were grouped into one of three guilds according to their feeding habits: fluid-feeding, leaf-chewing or xylophagous insects and all collected insects were stored in the entomological collection of the Laboratory of Insect Ecology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG).
