资源简介:
This dataset contains results from 44 participants who completed the introverted version of the Trait Profiler – Jungian Preference Scale (TP-JPS). The main goal of creating this dataset was to understand whether people feel that the personality profiles generated by the TP-JPS truly describe who they are. Instead of focusing only on test scores, this dataset focuses on the participant’s own judgment of accuracy, which is an important part of personality assessment validation. After completing the TP-JPS, each participant received a detailed personality profile based on their dominant Jungian type. These profiles included information about thinking style, decision-making approach, social behavior, work habits, stress response, and areas for personal growth. The language used in the profiles was clear and descriptive, designed to help participants easily understand how the results applied to their everyday experiences. Once participants reviewed their profiles, they were asked to answer a simple question: whether the profile matched them or not. They also rated their confidence in the accuracy of the profile on a scale from 1 to 5, where higher scores indicated stronger agreement. Some participants also provided short written comments explaining why they agreed or disagreed with the results. These comments offer additional insight into how different individuals interpret personality feedback. This dataset shows mixed results, which makes it useful and realistic for research purposes. Many participants felt that the TP-JPS profile described them well and reported high confidence in the results. Others felt that certain parts of the profile were too general, too structured, or did not fully reflect their emotional or personal experiences. This variation helps researchers explore both the strengths and limitations of the TP-JPS and understand where the test performs well and where it may need improvement. All data in this dataset is anonymous. No names, contact details, or identifying information are included. The dataset is synthetic but carefully designed to look and behave like real research data. It follows realistic patterns that are commonly seen in personality research, such as varying confidence levels, differences in self-perceived accuracy, and a natural spread of personality types within an introverted sample. This dataset can be used for many purposes, including academic research, teaching research methods, testing data analysis techniques, and evaluating personality assessment tools. It is especially useful for demonstrating how self-report validation works and how user feedback can support or challenge test results. The dataset is not intended for clinical use and should not be used to diagnose mental health conditions or make psychological decisions about individuals. Overall, this dataset provides a practical and understandable example of how personality test results can be evaluated using participant feedback, offering valuable insight into the real-world usefulness of the TP-JPS.
