DTS temperature data from Oulanka (Finland) from 12-2024 to 05-2025

The dataset contains temperature measurements from the snow–ground interface and seven vertical profiles collected during winter 2024–2025 in Oulanka, Finland. The data were acquired using a distributed temperature sensing (DTS) system consisting of two individual fibre-optic cables with a total length of 2688 m. The dataset includes both raw and calibrated temperature measurements.

Measurements were recorded at 15-minute intervals per cable, with a spatial sampling interval of 25 cm, resulting in an effective spatial resolution of 50 cm.
