资源简介:
Tapera naevia (striped cuckoo) Sequence Assembly Release NotesBackground:The striped cuckoo (family Cuculidae) is an obligate brood parasite that is broadly distributed across South and Central America. The striped cuckoo's hosts include a variety of small passerines that construct domed or covered nests, including various spinetails, flycatchers and wrens. Striped cuckoo high molecular weight (HMW) DNA isolated for sequencing is derived from an adult female provided by the Louisiana Museum of Natural History at Louisiana State University (LSUMZ B-15026). HMW DNA was used as input to generate Hifi reads using the Sequel II instrument (Pacific Biosciences) on Hifi mode. Total coverage used for assembly was 45x using a genome size estimate of 1.26 GB. All quality filtered sequence reads were assembled with Hifiasm v0.19.3-r572 using default parameter settings. This work was supported by NSF grants DBI 1754311, 1754397, 1754406, 1754643, 1940624.Tapera naevia Sequence and Assembly Credits: Brood Parasites Genome ConsortiumDNA sources - Louisiana Museum of Natural History, Louisiana State University.Genome Sequence - Hudson Alpha Institute, Huntsville, AL.Sequence and Assembly - University of Missouri, Columbia, MO.Citation upon use of this assembly in a manuscript:It is requested that users of this Tapera naevia sequence assembly acknowledge the Brood Parasitic Bird Genomes Consortium in any publications that result from use of this sequence assembly prior to the publication of this resource.
