To understand the molecular mechanisms involved in the adaptation and the increased functionality of Lactiplantibacillus pentosus AP2-16 in response to edible oils, a global transcriptomic analysis was achieved in non-adapted and oil-adapted strain. The aim of this study is to determine the genes differentially expressed which are involved in key metabolic pathways linked to the increased probiotic activity.
