Mountain Lake Ice Phenology

These data are trend data derived from a imagery from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensors aboard the Aqua and Terra satellites. The images were taken daily between 2000 and 2020. The imaging data were acquired through Google Earth Engine (GEE). The GEE code to duplicate our results are available within our Github code. The data required to run the analyses are included within this repository (i.e., mk_results.csv). The metadata describes the mk_results.csv data file. If a step-by-step analysis with the raw data is preferred, you can follow the Github and GEE code. The GEE code can also be used on other lakes; however, some steps within the Github file may not be necessary on low-elevation, topographically simple lakes.
