Raw Data on the Effects of 6-Benzyladenine on Fruit Quality and Biochemical Composition of 'Idared' and 'Jonagold' Apples
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the original experimental data supporting the manuscript (ijms-4707996) submitted to the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS). The research was conducted during the 2017 and 2018 growing seasons on two apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) cultivars, 'Idared' and 'Jonagold', to investigate the effects of 6-benzyladenine (6-BA) treatment on fruit quality and biochemical composition compared with untreated controls. The dataset is provided as an Excel workbook containing four worksheets: Physical raw: Individual fruit measurements, including fruit weight, firmness, and peel color parameters (L*, a*, and b*). HPLC sugars and acids raw: Experimental data on individual soluble sugars and organic acids, including measurements from composite replicates. Phenolics pulp raw: Concentrations of individual phenolic compounds and their groups determined in apple fruit pulp. Phenolics peel raw: Concentrations of individual phenolic compounds and their groups determined in apple fruit peel. The dataset includes observations for both experimental years, cultivars, and treatments, together with individual fruit identifiers or composite replicate identifiers, as applicable. These data are made openly available to facilitate scientific transparency, verification of the published results, reproducibility of statistical analyses, and further research on apple fruit quality and biochemical composition.
