From the early Holocene to modern sediment geochemical and geochronological data from North American boreal and temperate lakes.

This dataset includes Holocene to recent lake-sediment measurements from boreal and temperate lakes in Canada and Minnesota (USA). It contains depth-resolved data on organic matter, bulk density, organic carbon (raw and diagenesis-corrected), sediment and carbon accumulation rates, along with lake morphometry, watershed characteristics, climate normals, and calibrated sediment ages. All raw data included in this dataset have been obtained from previously published sources.
