FAIRsharing record for: Elsevier's Data Policy

This FAIRsharing record describes: A list of the repositories recommended by Elsevier. Elsevier journals have different guidelines when it comes to research data, either encouraging or requiring you take certain actions. Although much research data is disseminated as part of journal articles, a host of other data is not made available through article publication. Our research data policy sets a framework for how we can and will support researchers to make their research data available. Some journals may adopt their own data sharing policies and these can be found in your journal’s guide for authors. Please note that as of October 2023, Elsevier has changed their policy recommendation, stating that priority should be given to research institutes' own data sharing policies that authors should follow. As a consequence, please consider the recommended resources listed within this record as a non-exhaustive list of suggested resources for data deposition.
