Planetary Entry Probe Dataset was developed by the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Purdue University, and it contains data from 53 planetary exploration missions. This dataset covers multiple planetary exploration programs, including detailed information such as mission source, mission name, target planet, launch year, entry flight path angle, relative planetary entry velocity and other relevant details. The dataset was created to provide references for the design and analysis of future planetary exploration missions. Its application fields include the design of planetary probes, mission planning and scientific research, aiming to address technical challenges encountered during planetary atmospheric entry and landing processes.
