Aspergillus fumigatus mitochondria is involved in gliotoxin self-protection and production

The project describes the transcriptional profiling of A. fumigatus and A. nidulans wild-type strain and mutants delta mtrA and delta nmrB exposed to 5 ug/mL of gliotoxin for 3 hours. The main aim of the project is to understand which genes are differentially expressed in these two mutants when compared to the corresponding wild-type strains.
