Quantum simulation of nanographenes and Trotter error cancellation

This repository contains TD-DMRG time-series data to calculate energies and energy gaps of effective Hamiltonians considered in "Quantum simulation of nanographenes and Trotter error cancellation", Bay-Smidt et al, 2026. The data files are called "g_vectors" and the file names include the name of the molecule, the bond dimension used for TD-DMRG and the Trotter time-step size. We include files that use either the split-operator unitary or the tile Trotterization unitary. The data files for tile Trotterization schemes have "tile" included in the file name. Furthermore, we include python code and a notebook which allows to reproduce results on the tile Trotterization kinetic energy operator splittings employed in "Quantum simulation of nanographenes and Trotter error cancellation", Bay-Smidt et al, 2026.
