The MIDI Chroma Dataset is a music generation training dataset containing pre-computed chroma features for 4719 songs. Each song includes a title, a list of genres, chroma features for 12 pitch classes over 128 time steps (as a float32 array), and a text description for conditioning. The dataset is created by directly extracting chroma features from MIDI note events and is suitable for training a geometric VAE model called ChromaLyra.
