Mitochondrial DNA and the STING pathway are required for hepatic stellate cell activation

The LX2 cells were subjected to TGFß (5ng/ml) stimulus with or without STING inhibitor IFM-004490-7 10µM (STINGX) pretreatment. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 3 different groups (Control, TGFß, STINGX+TGFß) Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for LX2 cells untreated or subjected to TGFß with or without STINGX pretreatment.
