Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Felixstowe Road, Stratton Hall, Levington, Suffolk, February 2024

This collection comprises image, spreadsheet and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at land south of Felixstowe Road, Stratton Hall, Levington, Suffolk. The work was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in February 2024. A total of 11 trenches were excavated. No artefactual remains were recovered from any of the features on the site, but using the wider mapping of the cropmarks beyond the bounds of the site there is a tentative suggestion that the trackway may relate to the Prehistoric period, due to the trackway ditches appearing to respect the barrow features also identified within the surrounding landscape.
