Comparative Advantage Matrices for Korea, China and the United States in Latin American Markets, 2000–2024

This dataset contains the comparative advantage matrices used in the study “The competition between Korea, China and the USA in Latin American markets: an analysis based on comparative advantages matrices”. The matrices cover the Republic of Korea, China, and the United States and were constructed using international trade data from UN Comtrade for the period 2000–2024, divided into five subperiods: 2000–2004, 2005–2009, 2010–2014, 2015–2019, and 2020–2024. The files contain the comparative advantage indicators used to compare global export specialization with specialization in Latin American markets and constitute the supplementary empirical material underlying the analysis presented in the article.
