SERPINB9 is commonly amplified and high expression in cancer cells correlates with poor immune checkpoint blockade response

After exposing a panel of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell lines to cytotoxic CD8+ T-cells, we found SERPINB9 to be the most differentially expressed gene between the cell lines most and least resistant to T-cell killing. Overall design: Gene expression profiling (RNAseq) of a NSCLC cell line panel pre- and post-T-cell exposure as well as concordant pre- and post-cytotoxic T-cell samples.
