Amplification of spontaneous emission from doubly excited Heatoms Description of the data The dataset contains the data needed to reproduce the plots, presented in the article: Amplification of spontaneous emission from doublyexcited He atoms accepted for publication to the Physical Review Letters journal. The reference DOI is: https://doi.org/10.1103/mg5s-xvct Raw experimental data, recorded on the EIS-TIMEX beamline of the Fermi FEL in october 2023, will become available in october 2026 under thestandard CC-BY-SA-4.0 licence, as per the Elettra scientific data policy. It will be available on the Open access portal on the Elettra website underthe name 20224028. Raw theoretical data is available, upon request to the authors. It cannot be published in this repository, because of it’s size, which is more than 60 GB of hdf5 files. Organization of the data The data is compressed inside a single plot_data.zip file. When extracted 30 text files are produced, each containing one or more curves or datapoints. The contents of the files can be understood from the file names. Data inside the files is separated into columns with whitespacecharacters. On the top of each file is a short header about each column meaning and units of the data.
