藏药有别于中药及其它民族药的一大特点，即其大多是由植物、动物和矿物所形成的多组分体系，并在长期临床使用过程中已被证明是安全、有效的。通过文献及相关典籍查阅，结合项目组前期基础，同时与从事藏药研究的相关研究机构、医院及药企进行学术交流，从而确定常用大宗藏药材名录。通过详细分析与归纳，形成包括每种药材的藏名、中文名、拉丁名、图片、功效、分布及资源状况等一套系统数据库信息，为藏药资源的保护与合理利用提供理论基础。

One distinct feature that differentiates Tibetan medicine from traditional Chinese medicine and other ethnic medicines is that most of its preparations are multi-component systems composed of plants, animals, and minerals, which have been verified safe and effective via long-term clinical applications. Through literature and relevant classical document consultation, combined with the preliminary research foundation of the project team, and academic exchanges with relevant research institutions, hospitals, and pharmaceutical enterprises engaged in Tibetan medicine research, the list of commonly used major Tibetan medicinal materials was finalized. Through detailed analysis and induction, a systematic database was established, which includes information such as the Tibetan name, Chinese name, Latin name, images, efficacy, distribution, and resource status of each medicinal material, providing a theoretical basis for the protection and rational utilization of Tibetan medicinal resources.
