Electrical resistivity tomography method was used to monitor near-surface structures of a mud volcano in Piparo, Trinidad. This method utilizes the Wenner array electrode configuration, electrode spacing of 3 m, and 14 parallel lines spaced at 12 m apart. We acquired data at two different times. The first dataset were acquired in July 2018. On the 21st of August 2018, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake occurred near the northern coast of Venezuela, and greatly affected the study area, as well as the majority of Trinidad.
