# SPES + Visual iEEG dataset This dataset contains intracranial EEG recordings from two patients during single pulse electrical stimulation (SPES) and visual stimulation as described in: H Harvey, KN Kay, NM Gregg, G Ojeda Valencia, M In, C Kapeller, Y Shu, GA Worrell, KJ Miller, and D Hermes (2025). Single pulse electrical stimulation in white matter modulates iEEG visual responses in human early visual cortex. (Under Review) A preprint is available currently at doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2025.05.05.652264. Note that stimulation data contained in the raw data files but which are not relevant to this publication (i.e., other stimulation sites) have been removed (replaced with 0), as those data are being used to answer other scientific questions and will be released in time with other manuscripts. This does not impact the analysis in this publication. Please cite this work when using the data. The data can be analyzed using Matlab code available on GitHub: https://github.com/hharveygit/SPES_Visual. ## Format Data are formatted according to BIDS version 1.10.0 ## Single pulse stimulation Subjects lay in bed awake at rest during the SPES-only task, while SPES was delivered at approximately 0.3 Hz. Subjects sat upright in bed viewing images shown on a computer screen during the SPES+Visual task, while SPES was delivered at approximately 0.2 Hz.
