Land south of Marshfield Close, Goonhavern, Perranzabuloe, Cornwall: Magnetometer Survey Report (OASIS ID: archaeol20-381763)

A detailed magnetometry survey was carried out over a small land parcel at Goonhavern in Cornwall. The results reveal the presence of anomalies associated with the underlying geology/subsoil in the south western corner of the site and also the remains of a former field boundary, removed in the 20th century. Elsewhere there are a small number of weakly positive anomalies, but they lack a coherent morphology and cannot be confidently interpreted. Other anomalies are associated with more recent land use, including a former construction compound and recent geotechnical investigations.
