Euro-barometer 24: Entry of Spain and Portugal, October 1985

<p>With this study, the new European Economic Community (EEC) member nations of Spain and Portugal join the ten nations included in previous Eurobarometers. In addition to continuing to monitor attitudes on European integration, life satisfaction, and social goals, respondents in Spain and Portugal were asked about the likely effects of EEC membership on their countries. Respondent attitudes toward the United States were also investigated and respondents were questioned concerning the effects of the economic policies of the United States and Japan on their nations.
