Replication Data for: Asteraceae from the Brejos de Altitude of Camocim de São Félix, Pernambuco, Brazil

The species of Asteraceae in a fragment of mountain forest located in the municipality of Camocim of São Félix were analyzed. Botanical collections were carried out to compose a list of species of the mentioned family, in addition to online database. A total of 37 species were identified, belonging to three subfamilies, distributed in 13 tribes and 33 genera. Chaptalia nutans, Gamochaeta pensylvanica, Lepidaploa cotoneaster, Lepidaploa remotiflora and Mattfeldanthus andrade-limae are new occurrences for Pernambuco state. Identification key, comments on affinities and geographic distribution are provided. (2024-10-25)
