Photograph of "a yard of berries", grown by irrigation in Spokane Valley, 1929. Each row of plants which bear the berries at center is introduced by a short, wooden post. Rows of tall trees stand amongst the field of berries on either side. The field continues to the hills in the distance. "The small, shimmering berries are attached to each other as well as the thin leaves at top through intertwining stems. Each berry looks similar to miniature bundles of grapes."
